Qisda Reported to Have Won Mobile Phone ODM Orders from Motorola

Taiwanese ODM (Original Design Manufacturing)/EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider Qisda, spun off from BenQ in 2007, revealed on March 4 that the company has landed ODM orders for high-end mobile phone from a first-tier vendor, Taiwan's Commercial Times reported, citing a Qisda official.

According to the Commercial Times report, the unnamed vendor is believed to be Motorola, though no specific source of information was given. Qisda also revealed that shipment is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2008.
